I am an advocate for children. Parents, kids, tell me what you think is important to education. It is not all about testing, although necessary. Music, art and sports incorporated with reading and writing skills are critical lessons to becoming a quality person who can contribute in the 21st century. Tell me what you think and maybe we can work together to influence school districts, school boards and law makers to improve our most important future asset--EDUCATION.
The US has recently fallen well behind other countries in science and technology. Our children can't read, have little understanding of long range goals and working at something for development, i.e. the lessons of music, art and sports.
Are you a parent or a citizen who realizes this? I want to hear from you?
